Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine that deals with finding and treating illnesses of the eyes. Vision issues, cataracts, infections, and retinal abnormalities can all have a direct effect on a person's everyday life and independence. So, in eye care, it is very important to find problems early and treat them correctly.
The Department of Ophthalmology at PMCH works to make a diagnosis by doing thorough eye exams and following a set clinical approach. Our clinical staff looks at each patient's condition using vision tests, eye exams, and diagnostic evaluations. Based on these results, they come up with a treatment plan. Many eye problems may seem small at first, but it's important to get them checked out right once.
At PMCH, we want to create an eye care system where getting the right diagnosis, getting safe treatment, and making sure patients are comfortable are all equally important.
